Rudraprayag

Rudraprayag is named after Lord Shiva who is also known as Rudra. According to folklore, it is said that to master the mysteries of music, Narad Muni prayed to Lord Shiva, who appeared in his Rudra avtar to bless Narad Muni. Rudraprayag is situated at the holy confluence ofthe Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers.
