Namchi

Namchi has recently grown into one of the most popular sites for tourism in Sikkim due to its world’s tallest statue of Guru Padmasambhava, the patron of Sikkim. Namchi literally translates “top of the sky”, and the beautiful site from the hilltops of this place completely justifies that meaning. Almost similar to Gangtok in every aspect of its architecture and culture, Namchi is much more quiet and silent than Gangtok.
