Panaji, the capital of Goa, is a quaint city known for its laid-back vibe, Portuguese heritage, and scenic location along the banks of the Mandovi River. Fresh produces and snacks in local markets such as Panjim Market offer a value bargain. Another local handicraft destination is the Goa State Handicrafts Emporium; Baga Beach Flea Market is for any eclectic finds to be brought to the beach.
